Non-woven apparel (caps, coveralls, lab coats etc.) have an elastic that is sometimes made of natural latex rubber, which is known to cause allergic reactions in some individuals. To guard against the risk of these allergic reactions, RONCO now manufactures majority of non-woven items with elastics made from non-latex material. On the product page look for Latex-Free logo which is your guarantee that the product does not contain latex.

AQL stands for Acceptable Quality Level and is measured based on international standards. There is an AQL for major defects, which are visible to the eye, such as tears, stains, and dirt; minor defects such as excessive powder; and water-tight test – pinholes, which are very small and are sometimes invisible to the eye. What is the difference between medical examination and industrial grade gloves? Examination grade gloves must be of a higher quality than industrial grade gloves. The AQL for pinholes for medical gloves is 1.5, whereas for industrial gloves, the AQL for pinholes ranges from 2.5 to 6.

Gloves with slip on cuffs are easy to don but do not provide any protection to the arm. Longer cuffs, such as the safety and gauntlet cuffs, are better for applications where the hands will be immersed in a liquid or solution or will come into contact with a substance that will require arm protection.
